Access Freshwater Science

Freshwater Science (FWS), is available online for all SFS members and to institutional subscribers. FWS can be accessed through the journal’s web pages at Allen Press, BioOne, and JSTOR. Please use the links below to access the Current Issue and the Issue in Progress or back issues. Issue alerts and RSS feeds are available from the Allen Press or BioOne sites.

Current Issue and Issue in Progress

The Current Issue is the most recently published printed issue of the journal (BioOne or Allen Press current issue page.)

The Issue in Progress consists of final versions of articles that have been published online but have not yet appeared in print (BioOne or Allen Press).

BioOne

Issues are available for the last three years, and can be accessed through your institution or library. SFS receives income when J-NABS and FWS articles are downloaded through the BioOne web site, but not when they are accessed directly from Allen Press. If your institution/library subscribes to BioOne, please use BioOne to access articles published during the last three years.

Access FWS and J-NABS through BioOne.

Allen Press

Issues are available for 2000-present, and can be accessed with your SFS membership. If you do not have access to BioOne, you may access the current back issues of FWS and J-NABS through Allen Press.

JSTOR (Archive)

Electronic access to the back issues in JSTOR of Freshwater Invertebrate Biology (FIB) and the Journal of the North American Benthological Society (J-NABS), excluding the most recent 3 years, is available for all SFS members. JSTOR is an online archive with a mission to digitize, preserve, and make accessible scholarly journals.

If you are working from a computer at an institution that subscribes to JSTOR, you may be entitled to access back issues of Freshwater Invertebrate Biology (FIB) and the Journal of the North American Benthological Society (J-NABS) through your institution.
