Taxonomic Certification Program exams will be offered on May 18, 2018, at the Highlands Biological Station (HBS) in Highlands, North Carolina (map).
John Morse, Ph.D., of Clemson University will teach an intensive two-week course, Southern Appalachian Mayflies, Stoneflies, and Caddisflies, worth four academic credits in the University of North Carolina system, transferable to other universities. At the end of each session, Dr. Morse will give students the option to take either a practical examination to identify genera with specimens that he assembles or the SFS-TCP Group 2 EPT (East) exam.
- Group 2 EPT (East) exams will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 18, 2018.
- Dr. Morse is also willing to administer examinations for any SFS-TCP exam group for anyone (participants in the EPT course or not) beginning at 12:30 p.m. on May 18, 2018.
