How to Submit an Ad

  • SFS members, academic institutions, and non-profit organizations can freely post advertisements for position openings, meetings, publications, workshop and courses, or general interest messages.
  • For-profit companies are allowed to post freely, but a $35 donation to one of the SFS endowments funds is suggested.
  • Advertisements and messages should be emailed to the SFS Classifieds editor (classifieds@freshwater-science.org). If judged acceptable, they will be posted promptly (generally within 48 hours).

The Pacfish Infish Biological Opinion (PIBO) Monitoring Program will soon begin filling multiple temporary seasonal positions in biology for the 2020 field season.  Positions will be filled at the GS-3, 4, and 5 levels.  These seasonal (not to exceed 1039 hours) positions will begin on May 11th.  Student employees typically work to the first week of August while others will work to mid-September with extensions determined by availability of work and funding.
