We are seeking a PhD candidate, with industry sponsorship from the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA), to investigate the dynamics of shoreline vegetation in Lake Victoria, NSW.
We are excited to share a second postdoctoral research opportunity to investigate, characterize, and quantify (via statistical, geospatial, and/or hydrological models) the role of landscape surface water storage features (e.g., wetlands, floodplains) and their associated hydrological and biogeochemical functions on downstream water quality. INHS is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to assist with the Long Term Resource Monitoring element of the USACE Upper Mississippi River Restoration Program. The successful candidate will conduct research projects taking advantage of our 25+ years of standardized monitoring data on fish communities and water quality collected from six reaches of the Upper Mississippi River System.

We are seeking a post-doctoral scholar to work with a team of researchers from Oregon State University on an NSF funded project: Assessing the influence of lithology on primary production in mountain streams. This is a 22-month post-doctoral scholar position based at Oregon State University. We seek a motivated and collaborative scientist with experience in fluvial geomorphology and or stream metabolism modelling.
