The Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) is looking for an individual who enjoys diatom taxonomy and who wants to be part of a successful team of environmental scientists. This position is located in the Environmental Health Division of the WSLH which serves as the public, environmental, and occupational health laboratory for the State of Wisconsin. This position is perfect for the person who has a strong interest and background in freshwater diatom taxonomy and who has experience identifying and enumerating specimens in rivers, streams, lakes and wetlands. The incumbent will also identify aquatic invasive species and perform toxicity tests on water and sediment samples.
