The Delta Stewardship Council, a California State agency, is seeking candidates to serve on the Delta Independent Science Board (ISB), which provides oversight of all scientific research, monitoring and assessment programs in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta that support adaptive management. The Delta ISB has produced a number of influential reports, such as on restoration, water quality and flows for Delta fish, and their input is sought regularly for reviewing critical science documents within the Delta. Members are paid part-time for their work and are reimbursed for travel expenses to attend meetings in California.
