Jones-Tschiemer Ph.D. Fellowships in Environmental Science and Policy at George Mason University

The Ph.D. Program in Environmental Science and Public Policy at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia is soliciting applications for the Jones-Tschiemer (J-T) Fellowships for students starting the program in Fall 2023. The Fellowship package will consist of a Teaching Assistantship along with Fellowship funds. The total annual support package will be $31K in academic year stipend, $6K in summer research stipend, up to 9 credits per semester of tuition, and student health insurance. Students are required to simultaneously gain admission to the Ph.D. Program in Environmental Science and Public Policy. Instructions at this site: https://science.gmu.edu/academics/departments-units/environmental-scienc... are required to have an advisor before applying to the Ph.D. program and that advisor must sponsor them for the J-T fellowship. In addition to admission to the program, you must send an email describing your proposed research (as specific as possible after discussions with their Prospective Advisor) and stating their background for the proposed research to espgrad@gmu.edu with the Heading J-T Fellowship Application.  The deadline for J-T Fellowship Applications is April 14, 2023.
