Theo Murphy international scientific meeting organised by Professor Penny Johnes, Professor Davey Jones, Professor Stephen Maberly and Professor Richard Evershed FRS.

Dissolved organic matter (DOM) plays an important role in ecosystem function. Its flux to waters is rising globally, driven by population growth, agricultural intensification, land use and climate change. This meeting brings together a cross-disciplinary community to debate and discuss current understanding of the nature, origins and ecological significance of DOM in freshwaters, and identify exciting opportunities for future research.
