The Odum School of Ecology and the River Basin Center at The University of Georgia invite students with an interest in freshwater ecology to apply to the master’s degree program in Conservation Ecology and Sustainable Development (soon to be renamed “Integrative Conservation and Sustainability”). We anticipate offering two 2-year fellowships to students matriculating in fall 2021, the Butler Fellowship and the Spencer Fellowship, both of which support students working in freshwater ecology and related areas. *We strongly encourage applications from members of groups underrepresented in the field.* More information on the program and fellowships can be found at https://www.ecology.uga.edu/academics/graduate-school/. The application deadline is December 1. Please note that to be accepted into the program students must identify a faculty member who is willing to serve as an advisor, so it is essential to contact prospective faculty mentors in advance of the deadline.
