MS or PhD assistantship – watershed land use legacies

Dr. Ashley Helton is recruiting an MS or PhD student at the University of Connecticut. The student will work as part of a team focused on understanding patterns of land use legacies in the Long Island Sound watershed and how those patterns influence stream and groundwater chemistry and stream ecosystem function.

Top candidates will have a BS (or MS if applying to the PhD program) in a related discipline (natural resources, environmental science, ecology, chemistry, etc.) and strong field and laboratory experiences. Ideally, the candidate will be available to start in May or June 2021. Review of candidates will begin February 1st, 2021 and continue until the position is filled.
