Postdoctoral Scholar position at Oregon State University

We are seeking a post-doctoral scholar to work with a team of researchers from Oregon State University on an NSF funded project: Assessing the influence of lithology on primary production in mountain streams. This is a 22-month post-doctoral scholar position based at Oregon State University. We seek a motivated and collaborative scientist with experience in fluvial geomorphology and or stream metabolism modelling. The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to lead efforts in quantifying the relationship between sediment transport and geomorphologic setting and stream ecosystem processes (focusing on stream metabolism). As a member of the project team she/he will be expected to contribute to other aspects of the project including, data analysis, preparation of reports, scientific articles, and associated project deliverables. Applicants must have defended their Ph.D. by the start of the appointment and must have completed their Ph.D. no more than 5 years ago. The target start-date for this position is between June 1 and August 1 2019.
