We are recruiting several undergraduate students for paid, summer internships through the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. We are seeking motivated students with quantitative ecology interests. We will analyze big data from the Upper Mississippi River, including water quality, hydrology, aquatic vegetation, and fish. The students will have the opportunity to work with several other students, professors, and federal scientists both on the river and doing computer analyses, as well as present their results at professional conferences.
