Description: The Senior Habitat Specialist is a dynamic role that is involved in salmon recovery and habitat monitoring of rivers and streams in Snohomish County, Washington. In this role, you would work with watershed partners to recover ESA-listed salmonids in the Snohomish watershed by evaluating habitat improvements projects, providing technical recommendations, and facilitating working groups. You would also support our habitat monitoring program, which includes data collection at about 40 streams and 1 large river annually. This includes assisting with program design and improvement, data quality, data analysis, and reporting. In addition, you would be involved in project effectiveness monitoring, including monitoring a large estuary restoration project.
