Flathead Biological Station is offering Stream Ecology in Summer 2021. This 3-credit field course meets during 19 - 30 July 2021 and is based in Northwest Montana, USA.. We focus on the fundamental concepts of stream/river ecology and the physical, chemical and biological processes that characterize running water ecosystems. Students learn principles, concepts and methods of study in a field setting, and obtain hands-on experience in data collection and analysis in the context of stream ecosystem theory.
