In this month’s episode, we talk with Jim Elser, the director of the University of Montana Flathead Lake Biological Station, about the station's history and current role in freshwater biology.
Dr Jim Elser is director of the University of Montana Flathead Lake Biological Station, Bierman Professor of Ecology at the University of Montana, and holds a part-time research faculty position at Arizona State University. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). His current research focuses on mountain lakes of Montana and China.
