Update on WOTUS: New response from CASS to Scott Pruitt and Ryan Fisher.
SFS has co-signed, with the Consortium of Aquatic Science Societies, a new letter opposing the proposed rule, rule, Definition of “Waters of the United States” - Addition of an Applicability Date to 2015 Clean Water Rule. This letter was sent to Administrator Scott Pruit and Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Ryan Fish.
In the letter, changes to the WOTUS rule are clearly opposed and the need for peer-reviewed science is emphasized.
