Membership Goal
The Taiga Chapter is truly global in nature and is intended for all researchers working in the Northern habitats, regardless of country.
Mission Statement
The aim of the Taiga Chapter is to increase communication among researchers, community groups, and enthusiasts working in Northern habitats around the globe to bring about a greater understanding of this challenging environment. Real-time dialogue with others in “our field” can be limited, particularly in remote areas. We aim to bridge this gap using online tools – primarily a web forum and social media – so that everyone can participate.
